🏕️ Tent hire: £180 for the duration of your stay, plus pitch fees.

Accessory Packs

We offer two types of accessory pack, available for the duration of your stay:

🍽️ Basic Accessory Pack (up to 4 people) – £30
Includes plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery, tin/bottle opener, sharp knife, chopping board, salad bowl, cooking utensils, large jug, beakers, two wine glasses, dish cloth and drying towel.

✨ Luxury Accessory Pack (up to 4 people) – £45
Includes everything in the basic pack, plus a cool box and gas stove and lantern.

Tipis, Shepherd’s Huts and camping pitches may hire either the basic or luxury accessory pack

What does a pitch include?

One pitch covers a single unit, such as a tent, motorhome, caravan, campervan, bivvy bag or even an igloo, which tends to make an appearance around the August Bank Holiday. The pitch fee includes two adults, or one adult and one child, and one vehicle.

Additional charges apply for children aged 3 to 17, awnings, gazebos, dogs, extra adults and cars. It is your responsibility to make sure both your vehicle and your unit fit within the allocated pitch. Any additional items must also remain within your pitch boundary, otherwise you may incur a charge for the extra space required.

You can pre-arrange any requests of where you would like to pitch with management via email camping@farpeak.co.uk and we will do our best to accommodate you but please note this is not guaranteed.

When is the campsite open?

We’re open from April through to the end of October. Over the winter months, we turn off the water supply and close our facilities to prevent frost damage to the pipes and to protect the grass from becoming too churned up in wet conditions.

Can I stay for just one night?

All stays require a minimum booking of two nights, increasing to three nights over bank holiday weekends. In certain circumstances we may be able to offer flexibility, but this must be agreed in advance with management.

Is the camping and glamping dog friendly?

Yes, we’re very dog friendly, but we appreciate that not everyone feels the same. Some guests, particularly children, may be uneasy around dogs that jump up, bark or get overexcited. For that reason, we ask that all dogs are kept under close control at all times whilst on the campsite.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to dog fouling. Whilst we understand you cannot always predict when your dog needs to go, it is essential that you clean up immediately and dispose of waste properly. Any failure to do so will be taken seriously. After all, no one wants the unpleasant surprise of stepping in it and having to scrape it off their shoes.

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is 2pm throughout the season. Please call in at reception and see us before pitching as we don't want you to have to re-pitch if you are in the wrong area! Check out is by 12pm please, so we can get your Hut or Electric Hook Up ready for our next guests. We can be flexible, so please ask at check in if you wish to stay later.

PLEASE NOTE: Our Glamping Domes, Huts and Tipis are a little earlier - 10.30am to give us enough time to service them.
