COVID-19 IMPORTANT INFORMATION
We are delighted that we can officially open our campsite on the 12th April. We will be operating with our strict Covid Secure protocols as implemented by our team last year successfully but we look forward to welcoming you to the Cotswolds very soon.
We urge all of our guests to consider these additional guidelines for a safe and pleasant stay at Far Peak:
Arrival:
- Please maintain a 2m gap when queuing. You will be allocated a pitch by our campsite team.
- Payment by card or cash please.
- Only one group member at a time in reception. If you are arriving with a group (multiple pitches), please allocate the group organiser to come to reception ONLY.
Pitching and Amenities:
- You will be allocated a specific Toilet, Shower, Basin and Washing Up sink for your stay. These will be numbered in advance. Please ONLY USE YOUR ALLOCATED NUMBER for the duration of your stay. Extra disinfectant will be present in each cubical - you MUST clean all surfaces after each use.
- Only 1 group at a time in the sink areas.
Please note: The amenities will still be shared evenly amongst campers.
- Please leave minimum of 2m gap between each pitch. Your vehicle should be parked as close to your pitch as possible
- Please maintain social distancing measures around communal firepits/BBQs, gazeebos and awnings.
PLEASE NOTE: The Woodland areas are out of bounds to guests unless you are pre booked into a session with the climbing centre. This is part of our COVID SECURE ZONE. Guests of the Glamping Domes and Shepherd Huts are unaffected by this restriction but those who have booked the Glade or Tipi Tents will be moved onto the main camping fields.
Your local footprint:
- Please try to bring everything you need to camp with you. There is a selection of SMALL local shops in Northleach, but please try to avoid over stretching their capacity by bringing your own food, drink and supplies.
- Northleach is a beautiful 1.5 mile walk across the fields. Try to walk or cycle there as there is very limited parking.
- Please try to take as much rubbish away with you as possible and keep the Cotswolds clean!
- Drive carefully - the local roads are narrow, quiet and full of cyclists and walkers
- Respect our villages - we live here too and need to shop, buy medicine and go to the doctors.
ON SITE FACILITIES:
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the rules and restrictions around indoor and outdoor activities have vastly changed the way our on site activities can run. To keep our customers and staff as safe as possible and enforce the correct social distancing measures, we have created a COVID SECURE ZONE, with very strict entry restrictions in place for users.
We respectfully ask our camping guests to adhere to these guidelines - please do not enter the COVID SECURE ZONE without permission of the campsite, climbing centre or site management teams.
